Thinking About Your Birth?
You’re pregnant and starting to consider your birth options. Maybe you’re drawn to a home birth, or feel safer in a hospital setting. This might be your first pregnancy and you’re full of questions, or perhaps you’ve done this before and know you’d like more support this time. Even with a loving partner, they may not have experience supporting a birth—and you’re looking for someone with knowledge and calm reassurance to be there for both of you.
With ongoing staff shortages in maternity care, many women aren’t receiving the continuity they need. A doula doesn’t replace a midwife, but she provides consistent, familiar, emotional and practical support throughout labour.
Whether you’re birthing at home or in hospital, I can support you with:
A safe and supportive presence — someone who already knows you, your wishes, and your story, bringing calm, compassionate care to you and your partner throughout the birth
Soothing massage to ease pain and release tension
Support through key transitions — such as arriving at hospital or welcoming midwives into your home
Advocating for your wishes in communication with health professionals
Encouraging positions that bring comfort to you and support your baby into an optimal position for birth
Gentle reminders of your birth preparations — including breathwork, affirmations, and supportive mindsets
With over 15 years of experience attending births—and many more supporting women as a massage therapist specialising in women’s health—I’ve learned to truly listen to each birth. Every experience is different, and support must be tailored: massage, movement, breath, or simply a calm, familiar presence.
Let’s Meet
If you’re curious to learn more, let’s chat—just let me know your best times and whether your partner would like to join. We can talk about:
How a doula supports both you and your partner
Any birth preferences you already have, and how we can honour them
Arrangements for older children during your birth
What support might look like if medical interventions are needed
Life after birth—the postpartum period is tender, and we’ll talk through what support can help you feel held
Most importantly, we’ll see if we’re a good fit.

“I knew from the moment I found out that I was pregnant that I wanted Bella to be doula for the birth.
Her deep understanding of women’s bodies, her belief in their natural capabilities, and her familiarity with home birth and hospital settings, is reassuring and empowering.
Her constant kind presence throughout my son’s birth made it possible to start my journey as a parent with confidence and calmness.”
